Faith is a lifelong journey, and we encourage our parishioners to continue asking questions and learning about our faith as adults. We strive to continuously offer new and varied ways to explore our Catholic faith and grow closer to Christ.
The first Christians... We are so inspired by their courage, often in the face of extreme opposition, persecution and even martyrdom. How did they live? How did they evangelize?
Join us for a day of talks, reflection, prayer and music as we explore Three Secrets from the Early Church. With Mike Aquilina as our keynote speaker and Sarah Kroger leading music, this will be a retreat you won't want to miss! See how the example of the early Church can transform your own walk with Jesus Christ.
Cost is $30 per person. Lunch and coffee will be provided.
Mike Aquilina is the award-winning author of more than fifty books on Catholic history, doctrine, and devotion. His works have been translated into many languages. He has hosted eleven television series and several documentary films and is a frequent guest on Catholic radio.
Sarah Kroger is a Nashville-based, Catholic worship leader and songwriter. She has released three albums, Your Time (2011), Hallelujah Is Our Song (2013) and Bloom (2019), preceding her highly anticipated 4th album ‘Light’.
Deacon Petzold’s Monday Night Bible Study meets in the Parish Hall at 6:30 pm. Deacon Petzold’s class runs from September to May. You are welcome to join at any time and there is no cost.
Our Wednesday morning Bible and Faith Study Group meets at 10:30 am in the Café of the Religious Education Building (the PCC) and studies books of the Bible, theology, the lives of the saints, and Christian living. Everyone is invited and there is no cost involved.
Perhaps no book of the Bible fascinates people more than Revelation. Yet relatively few people have studied it, especially from a Catholic perspective. Revelation: The Kingdom Yet to Come is an intriguing eleven-session study program that shows how the kingdom established by Christ in his Church is intimately connected with the kingdom of heaven. This study meets Thursdays at 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM in the Parish Hall.
Literature as Prophecy is a fascinating class taught by Dr. Robert Alexander. Find Christ where ordinarily we do not see him and enter more fully and deeply into the sacramental life of the Church, especially the Eucharist. The class meets on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 pm in the auditorium of the Religious Education building (the PCC), and examines classic literature in the light of the reality of Christ.
Touching the Divine, a 20-lesson Bible study for women, focuses on the many qualities of Jesus revealed through the Gospel of John. This study draws us into a deeper, loving relationship with Jesus as we reflect on His life and personality. Wednesdays 7-8:30 pm in the Parish Hall. Click HERE for more information.
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a spiritual journey designed for adults who freely seek the living God and desire to enter the Catholic Church. RCIA participants will be strengthened spiritually during their preparation and at the proper time will receive the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Holy Eucharist). Baptized Catholics who have not completed the Sacraments of Initiation may also participate in RCIA as appropriate to their needs.
