 Gabriel Project Angel Training

Our parish needs more trained Gabriel Angels.  We can use your help! 

The birth of each baby is a fresh expression of God's unfailing love.  As messengers of God's love and forgiveness we offer immediate and practical help to any woman.  Come and train to be a Gabriel Angel.

Gabriel Angels express love through spiritual and emotional support of a woman who is pregnant and needs help.  Angels also help a mom find resources that she may need for herself and her child.  

Join the two-day training February 4th from 8 am – 4:30 pm and February 11 from 12:00 pm – 5pm at Catholic Charities, 249 W Thornhill, FW, 76115.   Those at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton are invited, please RSVP to Angela (Training Coordinator), walters4life@hotmail.com or 817-247-5615.

Criteria for Gabriel Angels
You cannot give what you do not possess

• 
Attend Angel training, generally a two-day event offered by the Diocese of Fort Worth.
• Be current in the diocesan adult "Safe Environment Training."
• Sign a statement of profession.
• 
Complete and return Angel profile, profession statement, and self-evaluation to Parish Coordinator.
• Attend commissioning/blessing Mass and be commissioned/blessed by a Priest.
• A member in good standing of the parish.
• 
Accepts the Church's teachings on marriage, family and life, abortion and contraception, and chastity.

• Faithful in observing the norms of Catholic life.
• Attend 
monthly Respect Life meetings at Parish (Second Tuesday night of each month at 7:30pm in the JPII House).
• Willing to learn and educate yourself in many areas related to mentoring a pregnant mother and on life issues.
• Be a woman of prayer.
• Be a woman of chastity and modesty.
• A woman who respects life from the moment of conception until natural death.
• Preferably an older woman with children - like-with-life apostolate.
• 
Preferably a woman of temperate disposition
