All women of the parish, are members of the Ladies Guild. We are a service/social group that has been a part of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton for over 25 years.
Our fundraising is confined to the Fall Fest Silent Auction. This money is used for all our projects throughout the year. We sponsor 20 students at our sister parish in Honduras. $4,000 pays for these students to attend school for a full year. We award a $500 scholarship to a local high school senior every spring, and donate $100 to the annual school supply drive sponsored by Social Services.
We make fleece blankets for Project Linus, an organization that serves seriously ill children and children in crisis. We make rosaries for our troops and for the missions. We have a knitting group that makes hats for cancer patients, as well as hats, scarves, mittens and sweaters for Indian parishes in the Dakotas.
We are paid members of the DCCW (Diocesan Council of Catholic Women), which is an affiliate of the NCCW. We attend their quarterly meetings and contribute to their projects. Some of our ladies serve the Bereavement Committee and help with funeral luncheons. Some launder the altar linens and change out the missalettes. Some work with Social Services, especially during the Christmas and Easter projects. Some of our ladies volunteer at the Keller Community Storehouse. We serve at special receptions like the St. Elizabeth's Anniversary and All Souls Mass reception. Last year, we provided desserts for the Knight's fish fries during Lent. And we usually have a good turnout for Bunco!
Our year always ends with a Christmas Party.
